Projects: South Africa Mission Trip 2011
In October of 2011 the Borland-Groover Foundation sponsored one of our own to travel abroad to assist with medical needs in Mzamomhle Township, South Africa. The township is home to over 26,000 people with 70% of the population HIV positive. So many children have been orphaned and live alone. Melinda was able to go door to door and check on those who would otherwise never receive the medical attention they need.
